I've inadvertently purchased a course that is presented in MP4 files. I'd like
to listen on my Victor Stream, which doesn't support this video format. Would
someone remind me of the name of a program that makes it easy to convert from
MP4 to MP3? Thanks.
Adrian, a couple of years ago I used a programme I think called
DVD convertor which did the job simply and had a free 30 day trial

I use Audio Converter Plus. I think it is by Abyss. GoldWave and Switch

No I sure do not. I actually use the portable version and just use Control+O
to open the file or files and then Control+E to extract (which can be found
in the menus).

Audio Converter Plus is the one I figured out first, and so I installed it. If
anyone is interested, here are a few details.
First, the trial version will convert only half a file. You need to make a
