oops, i thought, they are done in plain pd. [bp2~] is abstraction from
iemabs based on [filter~], which is either in iemlib1 or iemlib2. but
since these abs are intended to be included into pd-extended, it
shouldn't be a problem, that [bp2~] is used.

I think only the help files are included. They probably weren't
ported to Mac OS X, so the binaries aren't included. I can't imagine
it would be so hard to port them, but then there is the STK library
issue. IIRC, it has patent/license problems.

Is there any tutorial on implementing pixel shaders in Gem?

Sweet! Thanks, Hans-Christoph - all my delay patches work again (osx intel)!
Um - what's the story with org.puredata.plist? I notice it's no
longer included. I tried to start Pd without the .plist file and it
looked like it started, loaded some libraries, but then crashed.

On the cycling74 webpage there is an interesting article about writing
shaders for jitter:

is there a similar function available for GEM? Has anyone had experience
with doing this?

The Toon.vert and Toon.frag shaders don't seem to work quite well
here. I only get some kind of darker or lighter grey depending on the
value of the Phong variable I set it to have. I am using Pd-extended
0.39-2 test 5 on Ubuntu Linux Intel. Gem is 0.91-cvs compiled on Mar
