Hey all,
I was trying to do this dynamically with the lowest possible amount of
objects and I found a surprising behavior of [list split]:
Connecting a patchcord back from the second outlet of [list split] to
its first inlet puts out all elements of a list in reversed order of the
first

Hello folks, I've a problem: I tried to compile pd-extended on my archlinux but
even if the autobuild script gives me an error, the ./configure and the make
commands in the pd/src path work!! the problem is that they give me a version
of pd-extended without any extension!!!
Now I'm using pd

Playing with C01.nyquist.pd in the documentation, it occurred to me that
I can satisfy myself experimentally that I have overcome my foldover

You have two connections between a mass and a link.
And you have to trigger in this order : reset mass, reset lenght of
the link (to itinialize it), and then reset damping and initial force
of the link.
The patch attached should work.

i'm sure this must have happened to everyone a couple of times:
you cut a section of a patch, and paste it into another patch or subpatch.
the pasted contents overlay existing parts of the patch, and you go to move
them with your mouse while they are still highlighted.
however, sometimes your

That is good news and bad news. The bad news is that I still hear the
annoying noise that I thought was due to foldover. It must be something
else, but I have no idea what.

I have avoided this by getting myself in the habit of moving stuff

longer, but it's almost guaranteed to work (it also helps avoid that

Hum, I'm on a mac, and in cases like this, I just hit Command-Z to
undo the paste. And then re-paste them back so that they are selected
again. (But I also try to use the cursor keys to move things around,
as Matt said).

I'm having trouble with all versions of Pd I've tried (extended 0.39

Hi,
Is there anyone using Pd for doing intense file streaming towards an
Shoutcast/Icecast server?
I am interesting in hearing impressions, discovered drawbacks, etc..
** Some background **
Being in need to prepare a machine running an Icecast source client

I've had success with nSlam:
http://tot.sat.qc.ca/down_nslam.html
There is, in fact, in the package, a prepackaged example of streaming
application. I have not streamed 24/7 but for about 4 hours without a
problem. I used to run many different patches 24/7 (in different
contexts) without pd
Hi Michael,
First of all,
after a look at nSlam, overwhelmed by its features and refreshing my
mind on a cup of coffee, I've found a solution using MPD.. there
actually was a way to assign its only volume control to my desired output.
Anyway, I've taken a brief look at the documents and
