What I know is that you didn't give us much information... Are you
trying to compile this or trying to load it? What Pd version, platform,
etc?
The external uses the Flext library, so you need it to compile. Flext is
no longer in Pd-Extended, if that is what you are using.

The trick to route messages to a named subpatch turned out to be a chicken-egg
problem if the subpatches are to be built dynamically as I need...thanks for
the nice idea anyway :)though obsolete (?) that [namecanvas] really solved my
problem.

I like this idea, since [udpreceive ] mirrors [receive], it makes
sense that it would act like it too.
I implemented something like this for [hidio] which never really made
it out of SVN. The code is there in externals/io/hidio for anyone to
see. Basically, the first instance will do
