I think I can remember what it involved, but I don't think I have the

Let me see if I can dig it up.

Oddly, I can't reproduce my original problem, although some
fascinating new things have shown up. Perhaps it was a PowerPC issue?

Hi folks
If you've got nothing better to do this evening, the band I'm touring
with is playing on the Tonight Show, and I'm using Pd for about 8 bars
of a mellotron flute sample. Not nearly as impressive as Bjork's rig,
but what the hey, it's Pd in the pop world:)

Hey Hans-Christoph
Thanks for the release! It looks amazing.
I'm sorry to be useless here - I'm away and can't do any compiling -
delwrite~/delread~/vd~ don't seem to be doing anything on Mac intel.
If I get the chance to try to compile it myself, I'll give it a go
and report back, but you

Hi everybody
I really hope these notes aren't a drag for anybody - it's always
such a blast to meet up with Pders in distant lands.
Again, I got super-lucky and I'm doing some more touring, this time
with a really cool indie pop band. In April we'll be in London,
Brighton, Paris, Berlin
Yow!
Thanks - you guys are angels.

Hi Derek
Probably not the best solution, but to my ears, it sounds good to
scale the input to 0-1 and then square it.

Hi folks
I'm trying to build your classic sample player, with multiple key
zones etc, but I'm getting kinda stuck with looping.
Any thoughts on how I might gracefully implement a player which plays
a sample from the beginning when triggered, but then only loops a
section, like my hardware

The best solution I can think of is to use 2 tabread4~'s, crossfading
for every pass of the loop. Anybody have a better idea?
I'd do the looping a bit differently: Standard would be to use a
[phasor~] scaled so that it plays a certain section

The problem with the phasor~ is that I can't get a crossfade over the

aren't that clean.
I will look at RTC-lib. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah - test 7 worked fine on G4, but not on intel. Test 6 is okay on intel.
Is there any more info I can offer? I'm not sure where I should be looking.

completely understand it, but I've attached my solution, which avoids
using $0- directly.
