end i have to check if the type is an int or a float and unpack it accordingly.
i assume this is either caused by - the way pd passes around numbers
internally, or - the way oscSend interprets incoming numbers.
is there any simple workaround?

sent Novation an email about releasing the Automap SDK - they
said they'd do so 'in a few weeks' - this was a few weeks ago, so it's
hopefully imminent. The question I want to ask is, would anyone else find
an Automap external for PD useful?

How do I switch between open windows on OSX using the keyboard? On PC I
used to be able to Ctrl-Tab. The OSX equivalent of that is Apple-`, but it
doesn't do anything; Apple-Tab on OSX switches applications, which doesn't
help either.
