I've used [pix_write] to get .jpg images and then combined these to a
movie and added the audio via mencoder:
mencoder -mf fps=17.79 -ffourcc DX50 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=9800:aspect=4/3:vhq:keyint=15
Hello,
this question is probably off-topic:
When using a Gem-Patch on a laptop with a NVidia GeForce Go 7300 video
card, running Windows XP and Pd-extended 0.39-rc4.
Whenever trying to bring the Gem windows to the second screen, rendering
stops, most likely due to 3D rendering only enabled on
Sorry, only in German, but maybe someone is interested.

To satisfy the other two percent, a better solution IMO would be to

Can you please elaborate a little more on Gnuplot, is this an object?.
Which library it belongs to?
Gnuplot is a stand-alone application that is driven via command line, so
you can use [shell] to send data to it:

I meant that Gem has problems with some movie files and that seems to be

Hello,
is there a way to route the video output of mplayer (or any other oss

thanks for all your suggestions, TAPESTREA looks great, but I'm just
intrigued by the patch of carmen. After playing around a while with some

Create a [pdp_xv] canvas with 800x640 pixels.
Use the values of [fft~] as right input for [pdp_gain]

as I'm diving deeper and deeper into Pd and externals, I'm willing to do
