Hi, Hmm, this I've never seen happen. Does it happen in English mode too? Do any of the names of your Audio or MIDI devices have non-latin or Japanese characters in them? Language difference could be a cause. Because in MIDI setting window, Apple's default IAC driver should be appeared but

At this late in the release cycle, it would take a serious bug for me to update the included Gem. But don't fret, you can get nightly builds of Gem and put them in ~/Library/Pd and Pd-extended 0.43.4 will use that one over the built-in one. Or you could even grab the old Gem from Pd-extended
