Does anyone know how to run Kinect with PD to use it as a simple 3D-Scanner ?
Right now I found only externals which work with skeleton and hands functions
of Kinect. No depthmaps ((
i'm searching it for Windows.

10.10 and got it to run. I also got OSCeleton and managed to send
skeleton data to Pd through OSC.
Now I would like to get the raw images from the sensor in Gem, both the

The one I got working well was fux_kinect or fux_freenect, I forgot
exactly what its called. But that's on Mac OS X. Try running both at

Yeah, the latency is very noticeable, but I think you could still make
good instruments with it as long as there isn't much jitter. Percussive
controls are going to highlight the latency the most, so keep that in
mind.
