2.8-3.5/75-200) in K-A mount (not AF). It would close the gap I have but at a price
much lower than good 2.8 zooms (I wanted a 2.8/80-200 tamron adaptall lens, but none

I doubt that Ansel Adams had a digital camera, so he probably had some
photo-sensitive (phototropic?) material in his camera and was thus taking
photographs. If they have since digitized his photographs and are printing
them on Iris inkjet printers then they are no doubt gorgeous reproductions

As I am reading threads with two days lag (the web version is
_that_ slow), it all might have been answered already. I address
the issue of bellows factor and its difference in tele or
wideangle slr lenses, as well as T stop.
1) f/stop can't be just focal length/front
With the AF400T in particular the alkalines quickly fade to a lengthy recycling time
for a full power discharge. From a initial recycle time of about 10 seconds they drop
off to 15-16 seconds after 40 flashes. In contrast my Kodak NiMHs (about 1500mAh) give
7 seconds at the start and drop off
Reviews of more advanced digital cameras (e.g., Fuji 6900 and Minolta
Dimage 7 in the current Popular Photography) show that digital cameras
are capable of excellent low-noise performance. Both of these cameras
have electronic through the lens viewfinders. I doubt that this creates
any noise
I will vouch for the reviewers comments on this lens. I have it and it
is extremely sharp. There is absolutely no vigineting at the corners as
is sometimes the case with superwides, and build quality is excellent.
