BH currently stocks very few Pentax lenses, mostly the inexpensive
ones; the aforementioned FA 50/1.4 is not in stock. It's a huge

I don't tend to get flare much with it as the front element is buried about a mile
back from the front of the lens. I never even use the hood.

I do use the hood. I once made a photograph with it which had some backlighting, and
it was showing the flare pretty clearly. For the rest, I am very pleased with the lens.
