Just beware that the S-HMC CPL does not have front thread, only the Pro1 does (also S-HMC, but thinner rim). Pro1 UV is S-HMC with thinner glass and 3mm rim, you might save quite a bit but using the S-HMC UV which has 5mm rim and regular thickness glass (more protection I guess). Alan Chan

Go for it! The MZ-S is a great camera, and even better with the BG-10 grip. Not so sure about the 360 flash, since the head doesn't swivel. I've been using a Metz 40MZ-3 flash with my MZ-S, with good success. The MZ-S focuses well in dim light, better than the D100 or S1 Pro. As for noise,

Both the 300 f/2.8 and the 600 f/4 lenses use the same 43mm, six filter kit: Y48 (yellow-green), R60 (red), O(oh)56 (orange), L39 (appears clear), Normal (appears clear), and Cloudy (Skylight or 1A). Both lenses shoot neutral color without a filter installed. Hope this helps. Andre Langevin
