I think it's excellent. I would call it unique rather than odd. The cars and
sky in the HDR shot have a painterly look that I find very appealing. Norman
Rockwell's pallette comes to mind. I think the shot could be even better with a

I run Gamma 2.2 on my Mac with Apple cinema display. The monitor is
calibrated with a Spyder 2. My new Epson R2400 duplicates the screen
image flawlessly as did my previous Epson 2200. I don't see that
there's anything to be gained using G 1.8.

What's interesting about this Chicago skyline panorama is the
software with which it's presented. You can zoom in on a tiny portion
of the image just by clicking. It's good. It could probably have been
better if shot with a nicer lens. As an old Chicagoan, I know exactly
where it was shot:
