Yes, that's indeed an option. Although, I should admit, I haven't
used the film camera since I got DS.
It would not be a convenient option to have two bodies during a
vacation trip where we tried to fly without checking in any luggage
(except for the return trip, where we had to check in

As per John's note below, does anyone else use the FA 28/2.8 as the
main lens or one used most often on the Pentax DSLRs?
I often use my A 28 f2.8 on my istD for walk around winter shots, or
when i don't have a bag with me an shove the
28mm is a great single-lens setup for the DSLRs. Once I had the FA43
and DA21, however, I discovered I wasn't using the 28 anymore.
Since I tend to sell off anything i'm not actively using, I sold it
(along with my *ist DS bodies and other unused lenses).

Yup. Less than 3300. My problem is with 6 Dslr's, i take one out for a
bit, then the other, etc etc.
I have around 20,000 on the D1, (previous owner thinks he put 50-60 K
on it) around 11500 on the D1H (since i bought it last year), D2H has
about 16000 and the D200 some were around 8000.

Looks like MX is the most loved Pentax as there are 36 of them unused

On both the Canon forum i was on, and the nikonians, after every new
camera that was produced, they all had soft images and focus problems.

I'm up to 14800. But - I just hoiked out the receipt, and I received it
on Sep 23rd 2004. So that's, say 38 months divided by 14800 - that's a
piffly 390 pics a month! The shutter is rated to 250,000 so I guess mine
is still mint

You must have missed it. Mark Roberts keeps a list of memorable,
amusing, stupid, etc., things said on the PDML and publishes the list
yearly. It's heavy on the irony. I think this statement by Mr. Robb
