Blaze Gif Converter is available as a trial version (version 5.75). I ended

The rendering lacks some snap and the center seems dark to me, pulls

In his favourites gallery, the Sleeping cranes is too weak, imho.
And the before the storm look a bit sloppy wrt. tonemapping.

I looked at the Tournesol photos (Where's Tintin, btw?), and I suspect
a selective desaturation. Like in the ACR version that comes with
PS-CS3 (not the Elements version), where you can selectively
desaturate any of 8 colours. Or by the means of a hue/saturation layer
in PS, but that gives you a

Oh, my! That's a nice rendering.
Reminds me of the trip to GFM four years ago, when we stopped at Mabry
mill. There was noone about in the forge, but the fire was lit and all
the old tools were laid out, just like in your photo.

You might consider trimming just a little off the left

I'd push the left edge down a little more and pull the lower-center up
just a little more (to give the green sprig some more pop) too.
