I did some more experiments today. In SL1 slave mode the 540 doesn't
blink at all in wireless PTTL when the 160FC is used for triggering. I
verified the 540 to be working by removing the 160FC and popping the
internal flash. This worked as expected with no other settings

Since I was interested in the new 18-135 zoom, and more after having seen in
person how (relatively) compact is, I was impatiently awaiting the Photozone
test. Some preliminary comments were not very promising and the final test has
confirmed the worst predictions:
This guy is super calm as a tornado comes right by him. Doesn't appear
to realize that if one of those pieces of debris that damages his
vehicle had come through his window at over 150mph he could be
seriously injured or dead. He doesn't think it is very powerful, but
doesn't know how deceiving

function of the Pentax flashes had some intelligence and ignored the
P-TTL preflash. This opens new options. The A setting of the flash is

I won't :) Some more trail and error: It doesn't ignore the
preflash.If you set the flash to Manual and full power it fires
everything at the preflash. In the A setting it has enough power left

OK. I bought the IMAC this AM and got it going a little while ago. It
read and imported the AVI files directly into IMovie and I have
started editing. Not sure what the problem with my son's IMAC is but
this one works great!! The images are very sharp, more so than I saw
on the PC, and the whole
