As badly as I want a 6x7, the thought of buying film and having it
developed is a bit discouraging. There's too much dust here to
contemplate hanging rolls to dry. If I had more disposable income I
would be shooting film a lot more. I'm almost afraid to buy more rolls
because it becomes kind of
Hi Eric:
I'm a heavy DA 21 f3.2 shooter as well. Great lens. It's my go-to lens for
travel, walkabouts, street, and landscape (though I use the DA* 50-135mm f2.8 a
lot for landscape). You won't go wrong with this lens.

Nice images. I am familiar mostly with the covered bridges of New
England, although I have seen great ones in New Brunswick,
Pennsylvania, and, yes, even here in New Jersey.

You really shouldn't count out the 12-24. Its a well regarded design
that dxomark ranks as one of the best performing zooms on pentax. Some
have claimed that it is actually sharper than the 15ltd, and across
the frame that might be true. My copy was incredibly sharp for a zoom.

I second the 12-24. It’s an excellent lens. The DA 16-45/4 is also a very good
lens optically, although the build quality leaves something to be desired. But
it’s usually available at bargain prices. I used one for quite some time with
considerable success before selling it for about $250.
I have one too, compact size makes it great for carrying around, and the
picture quality is very good

Yes - nice series - great that you had good light! I think I like the
view from inside the bridge the best... I remember going through many
covered bridges in the midwest in the 40's when I was little - we drove
around Iowa,Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin a lot. Wish my mother had
