I knew someone who used a diaper-changing bag as a camera bag. He once
distractedly left it unattended for a half hour at the train station; it was
still there when he went back.

That is a well-composed and striking image; I love how the pink jumps
out of the grays that dominate the rest of the scene.

I liked the overall feeling.
I also think that it can be a bit more eye-catching;
still, I have no idea on how to do that.
Perhaps, I would be just happier seeing it bigger;
that sometimes provides all the "extra" I need.

I agree Bob, but let it do what it could

Also if the Pixel size is smaller than the wave length of light that one
is attempting to captured, you'll miss an awful lot of light in that
wavelength. (I'm not sure how perverse the universe is, I'm betting on

Actually this is the first image I've
not cropped in months. Full frame
tends to be a bit busy in such a setting.

Confession: I've never pored over the manual to fully understand my

Did a quick turn through a local refuge this AM.
A lot of noisy fall migrants, but will be greatly
better in another few weeks.
Not much within the range of my DA55~300. A few
hundred thousand more will probably produce some
accidental chances.
Fall is showing a bit, so I tried a shot.

Thanks, Rick. And never fear, we’ll be back to B in no time (although there’s
at least one more color coming up soon).

Excellent and very atmospheric gallery, Bob. Too many favorites to list,
especially since they're not titled or numbered!
I agree with Cotty that the dog got more photographic attention than he
probably deserved, though.

Very nice stuff.. Like Rick I like too many to start reeling them off. I
wasstruck, however , by the similarity of the scenes that
had no structures with the look of upstate New York...but then I
remembered that quite a few years ago the east coast of North America was
tornaway from the west
Now that's what I'd call minimalist.
