Thanks, Mark. The purple-pink variety is much more common, in my experience. They are the ones available in the local garden centers. The white ones we have were planted by our landscape contractor, who stated the white variety stays within bounds and lasts longer than the pink. Dan Matyola

Decided to replace one of my PESOs from 2011 with another one. The Rock = Alcatraz. Shot from a pier. Nothing special. I just liked the way the setting sun lit up the windows, making it look sort of occupied. (It was shut down as a prison in the 1960's.)
