There is no reason to get stuck with Earthlink, Yahoo, or any others.
Even if
I know that this is from Newfoundland. but some of the shots showing old or
reconstructed structures would be more interesting (to me) if I knew a
little more about where they are and what they are supposed to be.

Yeah, John (and Joe Tainter, too) I'm kind of stuck here since Earthlink
can't seem to get themselves out of the spam business. I can't request a
whitelist because of their ongoing inability to police their servers.
Our host won't go for it, for obvious reasons.

I was admiring the large blooms on the hibiscus plant on my desk. Trying
to something a bit different, I tried to get an image that would show (even
exaggerate) the size of the blooms. I'm not entirely happy with the
result, but find it somewhat interesting:
