I finally got my tabletop studio going. The table is a draped Black & Decker
Workmate 200. The backdrop is a Savage CB114G dark/light gray reversible
collapsible backdrop with the light side in use for the first series of images.
Lighting comes from a Savage LED-SB portrait kit containing a

No, I didn't do anything fancy in camera. All shot at f/2.8 and ISO 400.
It's just the "comet mode" in StarStax.

I snucked up under my duvet and collected the camera in the morning.

Image was taken three years ago, at my cabin. You are looking across a
lake, with a low, forest-clad range of hills towards the horizon. The
features at the right of the image are not people, but autumn-coloured
trees faintly lit by a rising half-moon to the right of the frame.
