Nice gallery, Rick. Jan and I were there in September last year, but I still
haven't had time to process my photos! We didn't get to see the skeletons, for
some reason, possibly because we were hot and tired on a 35° day!

Thanks for commenting.
I shot that with the 17-70, about midway through its range. The problems were a
very tight space, and distracting stuff below.

Thanks for posting this interesting gallery, Rick.
On our last trip to Italy, we started out to visit Herculaneum, but a
wildcat strike prevented us from getting there. I really enjoy the
opportunity to see a small sample of what it is all about.

Yesterday the high winds and enormous swells kept the usual surfers away
from Ho'okipa Beach, on the North Shore of Maui. There were not as many
green sea turtles as usual on the beach, but several can ashore to seek
shelter from the harsh ocean conditions.
A nice tour. I particularly like the classic (Classic) statue, next to last
image. But I don’t much care for the framing of that shot, wish you had shifted
your view slightly further left and also not cut off the bottom. I assume you
were limited by space and available lens selection...

All three are interesting and pleasing, with a stunning level of detail.
In the third, I especially like the patterns and textures in the tree
bark. In the first, the little guy looks a bit annoyed at having his
portrait taken.

Three excellent images!
The roller is the most interesting species, but, like Ann, I like the four
