Heya Rick, Ah, good! I'm glad they helped you sort it out. A bad update/install-over … It's rare but it does happen. I just couldn't figure out what OS you were updating and to what; macOS Ventura is v13.x (I'm on macOS Ventura v13.2 at present with a 2018-2019 Mac mini i7-six core). G

What computer, what OS? Is it Windows 10 to Windows 11? or macOS 10.15 (Catalina) to macOS 11 (Big Sur)? If an Apple Mac, what machine? Have you powered it off and then back on again? (To force any Mac to power off if the menu isn't working, just hold down the power button for about 10

OS 11 --> Weird problem

I wonder why now, but I upgraded this computer from OS 10 to 11 yesterday. It was a mistake. The main problem is that clicking in the menu bar now does nothing. Do I want to quit Mail after finishing this message? Tough luck. Do I want to use any of the other menu bar functions? Too bad.
