Just to clarify for those looking for the older Tamron 90mm f2.5
macro, it was available in 52B and a newer 52BB model (both sharing
same optics). I have the 52B and think it would be a terrific lens at
any price and is terrifically terrific for the money. The only
negative is that (just like the
Pentax engineers are continuing to pursue the possibility of
launching a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, as the firm points
to an 'exciting' few months ahead.

Could I just do a mini-rant here and ask why people are so afraid to
name their price these days? I, for one, can't be the Buyer and the
Seller too.
The seller should set a price (which could/should drop over time if
there are no takers) and the buyer decides if he wants it at that

I guess this qualifies as a newbie question. I don't have Lightroom
(yet) and so use Picasa to import photos from my SD card.
Lately, I've really noticed that in Picasa the RAW thumbnails looks
substantially better than the corresponding JPEG (I always shoot
RAW+JPEG).
Example here:
Impressive that they still managed to get it delivered in two days,
even with the apparent screw-up.
