Has anyone ever built a mount adapter to use FD lenses on K bodies?
I'm looking at a bargain-priced Canon 55/1.2 and am wondering ...

When we were in Philly I saw far more mirrorless than DSLRs in use.
After getting home I was chatting with a local store owner who found that
odd since mirrorless sales are only a fraction of the market. Maybe they
were all in one place at one time?
Then last weekend we were in Wisconsin and
the front e-dial barely works now despite efforts to clean

LOL. No no. I blame myself of course. Still its no fun having gear
break down after sinking money into it. Look at the abuse that metal
film cameras and lenses could take. Those days of rugged cameras are
kind of over sadly. The plastic zooms I doubt will last me 30 years,

I'm not sure why it bothers you.
At least the styling here is tasteful.

Lateral chromatic aberration correction?
What an awesome feature -- takes care of many issues with just-average
lenses.
Can anyone here report how well that works?
Do the other makers also have that feature?

To suggest that nobody really needs it would be like telling wedding (film)

The feature of the sensor is the color from CMOS.
Apparently he likes the old Kodak look of CMOS (as a matter of comparison)
over against the Fuji look of the sensors in Nikon.
I'd not read or heard anyone use that language before.

We live nearby (Columbus area) and go there every couple of years.
But I did not know of that feature. Will have to look it up.
The best summer shooting there, imo, is to walk the trail around the lowest
