My local camera shop (small town about 10,000), is now selling off
the E6 inventory, and is not planning to get any more. They said
no-one buys it anymore. I know I haven't since I got my DS.

Financial Christmas gift from my Dad went into my Lens fund, and I
just received my FA100 Macro (EX+) from KEH.
Looks beautiful, but sadly my cameras are at home (and I'm at work),
so I can't test it. (Especially after seeing the thread about the
problem William had with the KEH lens).

I hope disappearance of the D-FA from Adorama and BH is temporary,
and just a result of the holiday rush.

Actually, I've had success haggling with Henrys used inventory online.
I pointed out some Canadian links with the same product cheaper, and
then offfered them a comparable price. They took it. Got my FA28-70/4
that way.

Whew. Thanx for the clarification.
Last week I saw a Tamron 90 Macro on one of the used camera web sites
(in Canada), that I check from time-to-time. I remember thinking Wow,
that's a good deal. It's gone now.

You can feel his excitment, just looking at it. Good capture.

You've had problems with the Henry's checkout system? I've bought
several things through there, and haven't had a problem yet. Do you
know the problem is due to using the Henry's checkout?
I see that Henrys has a Sigma 105/2.8 Macro EX. Are you looking at
that one as well, or are you limiting
Yup. When I went on holidays in 2004, I regularly used 2 bodies. Long
lens on one, short lens on the other. Made it a whole lot easier to
capture the shot (seems with the one DS body, I always have the wrong
lens).

Laziness, mostly. It's easy. Plus, it allows me to do the catalogueing
immediately after the files are imported. I found that if I didn't do
it immediately, it didn't get done.

Not really. It just automates the process. Creates a new directory
based on import date and time, and brings all the new images up in a
new window for cataloguing (or deletion).
If you move images around outside of PSE (i.e. in the windows
environment) after they've been catalogued, you may screw
