When selecting a camera, how would one go about testing it for unacceptable
bad pixels? I'm sure that the mfr has a limit (greater than 0) of bad
pixels. You'd want to get one with as few as possible and in the least
important spots. Would they show up as white dots in an otherwise black
shot?
Is there any software available to operate the Pentax DSLRs from a computer?
What I'd like to find would, at a minimum, show the live image on the
computer screen and allow the shutter to be released from the keyboard. (It
would be nice to be able to do everything the camera's electronic controls
