Hi All,
Can anybody recommend some good double-sided media that comes in a 16 or
17 roll, for use with my Epson 4880? I normally love Epson's PLPP260
and I'm not a fan of matte papers normally, so any luster/semi media
recommendations would be particularly welcome, but I'm not sure any exist,

Hi All,
I recently picked up this lens from KEH but it didn't come with the
hood. Anybody have a spare they'd like to part with?
(Or trade for a PH-RBH 67mm from a 28-105 4-5.6 IF, since I have a spare).
Thanks!

Hi All,
I had the SMC-P version of this lens on my K10D when it decided it would
rather bounce off the concrete floor than stay in my hand. I replaced it
with the Tamron version (got a good price on it, and couldn't find the
SMC-P variant anywhere). But I am finding (based on my first few test

Hasselblad makes the sexiest gear I've ever seen. But I can't afford it even

I like the larger negative area of the Pentax 67 -- after all, isn't neg

Why would you ever need to use the format command? Every new flash card

Hi All,
I called Pentax yesterday to ask about the 30s limit in bulb mode. The
tier 1 tech support guy reproed the problem and talked to tier 2, who could
not repro it. Tier 2 is going to investigate and call me back. But while
experimenting tonight I found that if my drive mode is in

Just picked up a used example of this lens. So far I like it, but the
zoom position will creep under the lens's own weight. Is this typical
for the 28-105 or is this example just unduly worn? This is the newer
version of this lens, black, with 62mm filter ring.
Thanks,

My K10D is making a horrible raspy/staticy noise whenever the shutter is
open. It's very quiet, I can't hear it unless I put my camera to my ear,
but I'm a little bit worried. I thought it was the Shake Reduction but it
is the same with SR on or off.

Does anybody know the maximum safe flash trigger voltage for the K10D? I'd
like to make sure my off-brand flash won't kill anything (since the built-in

The manual is unenlightening.

conceive of any possible reason these features would care about the lens
aperture being set manually.

Tim,
Thanks for the welcome, I appreciate it. :) I feel bad for having set off
a landmine of ranting without knowing it...
I'm disappointed that the K10D hasn't readded the aperture linkage, but
I suppose I can tranfer my hopes to the K1D for a while anyway.
I guess the question I REALLY

contacts into the lens to program the aperture range (I have a chart of these

This would be pretty useful to me if so.
Thanks!
