I never really end up selling the *istDS, would have gotten just 30%
of what I paid two years ago at the most, and even though the K10D is
the only camera I use regularly, I can see your point, the *istDS is
way lighter and smaller. In fact with a pancake the *istDS is going to
replace my PS on

I was looking at those, but not having a display, freaks me out, how
do you know if all the files are copied, etc, I guess some lights
telling you that the job is done? I dont really want to look at the
photo in the display, just some LCD that gives me info, like how many
files are copied, space
on the display.
Are you bringing a laptop? You could check the integrity that way. There
are also some portable DVD burners out there, unsure of cost. If you have a
computer with you, you can pop in the DVD.

The tradeoff in cost for the Epson's in-unit display was worth it to
me, it also buys the ability to drive external displays and play
music. But it is a substantial premium.
