I'm pretty sure photoshop only does such a thing when using adobe
camera raw. lightroom does it because it doesn't actually process the
files, only shows you the previews, until you export at which point it
applies it to make the file you wanted as a result of the export. in
photoshop, each step

ps a little and this is the result. i think your original image was
slightly off-colored and too light overally. the one i've ended up
with is highly punchy, but probably it's supposed to be, all that
grass, sunny day and stuff
the da is lighter, probably a bit nicer built. i have no idea of
pricing where you are, but it is a bit more expensive too. on the
other hand - f1.4 vs f2.8 is a lot of difference, 2 stops. in the same
lighting conditions, that would mean using iso 400 with 1.4 and iso
1600 with 2.8 to get the

in my opinion, right part of the picture is completely distracting to
the subject and unnecessary. i'd crop it to a vertical shot, 80
percent of the crop necessary for that, from the right and the rest

and here's a sunrise i experienced from my window a few dawns ago.
mine was somewhat fiddly on my k10d, focusing lousily when at 16mm
position, but since i've done adjustment via the firmware crack of
heavy backfocus for my fa 50 1.4, it seems to act better. what i did
find out is that 50mm of 16-50 is something like 40mm in 50 1.4 terms
as far as fov is

Well, i took this shot a month ago, and i wasn't planning to. I was
with a friend, helping her with a project for her studies (she was
suposed to shoot a film comparing the basements of two tall adjacent
buildings - one commercial and one residential) when we were lurred to
the last floor of this
Great pictures, it must have been a terrific experience. I especially
liked the coast guard boat, beatiful colour contrasts

My favourite feature though is the ability to change the degree of the spot
metering
allowing me to choose the area I wish to meter on.
The only down side I could find was that all of this, took place in my
imagination.
