Deductions are not 100% money-in-the-pocket. It depends on your tax bracket.
100% amortized for a person in a 28% tax bracket means only that you have recouped
$280 on the $1,000 you have spent, so you are still out of pocket by $720.
Work out the math.

I have the Epson C80 - pigment inks for long-lasting prints but you have to the right
paper. Most matte papers work well, Ilford's Classic Pearl works well but will need a
printer profile, Epson's PGPP works well and their Professional Glossy Paper works
even better but has to be cut to size.
I don't know about shipping costs and duty to Canada, but Atlex.com sells the color
inks for $8.xx apiece and the black for $24.xx, about $50 for the 4 total. I
understand that there is a CIS system being developed for it hopefully due out early
2002 and that should save some money.

| Just a funny old picture I found in my hd.
On grab shots you can't always get the 'lighting just right' - excellent grab shot, I
like the kids' expressions. You can fix the aesthetics in Photoshop or whatever image
editing program you are using.

Turning into a busy weekend. I finished last night's ballet performance and now have
a new project I need help on.
I have never used slide film, and have photographed only people and places. My

of her
I used Konica Impressa 50 in San Francisco - I was impressed and I recommend it.

Thanks, Bill
I'm using color, but I will run out and get some 1600 speed film for tonight's
performance, just in case.
And I'll run out all three legs of the tripod.

What's to critique? An excellent image! I can see nothing that needs improvement.
