PESO: Itty Bitty Flying Critter

I was shooting birds yesterday with the K3, DA 150-450 and DA 1.4X converter when this little guy landed on a nearby evergreen shoot. He’s no bigger than a fingernail. Don’t have time to try to look him up right now but perhaps someone here recognizes him. About 945mm FOV at f8.

I upgraded to the cloud based Adobe photo suite about a year ago. I use photoshop and bridge for the most part, and they’re quite fast on my five year old iMac. But the Mac was top of the line when new so it has a 4 gigahertz i7 four-core processor and a good Radeon graphics card, I use an SSD

I’ve been shooting a snowdrop pic or two every spring for the past 20 years of so. It gets harder to get up off the ground every year. I may retire. These aren’’t as good as some previous efforts, but they are, indeed, snowdrops. First pushed up through the leaves earlier this week.

Walking in the woods with the 150-450 and K-1 on a monopod with a Black Rapid strap is fine. I use that setup to shoot sports as well. For birding I use it on a tripod with heavy duty ball head and the DA 1.4X converter. I shoot full frame knowing the converter will vignette a bit in the
