what is the functional difference between the pz-1 and the updated pz-1p?
i ask because i'm thinking of acquiring a pz-1 as a backup body to my
glorious pz-1p

that's the info i got from boz's site but when i went to look at the info on
the various cameras on ebay, no one seems to mention hy-m or hy-p.

I've been so thoroughly thrilled by shooting 35mm that I've been casually
mentioning my enjoyment to various friends. I assure all that this was done
w/o any intentions other than talking photography.
Lo and behold, family and friends have been unearthening pentax bodies.
I'm a thorough newbie when it comes to flash units (and for that matter, many
other things).
i have a zx-m and a newly acquired pz-1p. i know the zx-m doesn't support
ttl flash while the pz-1p does.
my flash experience is limited to flashing lights on p/s cameras. in other
words,

I just picked up a zx-m and the default lens was the A 35-80 f4/5.6 not the F
version. Are u sure your's is an F?
To the original poster of this thread, what version do u have the F or the A?
Anyone w/experience w/either lens, I'd welcome additional opinions.

well, i did it. plunked down good old american coin (actually it was a us
postal money order) and bought my 1st lens, a zoom no less, the KA
35-105mm/f3.5 w/ macro. sounds nice doesn't it?
