Got the SMC 120mm back from the shop yesterday. All fungus has been removed and it looks as good as new! Can't wait to give it a try. If only I had an *ist!!! I would say there's no reason to be afraid of a lens with fungus (as long as the shop knows what they're doing). Just my thoughts...
