It's a little HP no brainer that came with a HP Photosmart 8050

Hi Jostein,
I am no expert with AF, but my Canon rarely missed focus. However when I
shoot at the fashion show once a year, I use a friends high dollar
Nikon and it would miss Focus about 1 out of 30 shots for no
apparent reason.
I think I would have it looked at to be sure.

I came in right after a guy called the who (I think that was his handle
anyway). I was trying to fix the MLU lever on an LX I had just bought,
and somehow stumbled on to the list by surfing. As I recall, Rob was being
ever so helpful as always.

I used up three rolls last night with the LX and 50 1.2 at Las Posadas
in a restaurant last night at Olvera Street, I think the percentage of
low light shots in focus has gone way up. The 1.2 is a dream to

I will agree with that, the early ones are just buttery as Shel
would say. They are so sharp @ 1.4. I love them so much I
have 3 or 4 now. My first Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50

Hi Shel, IIRC it`s the coatings that are the only difference, optically.

I suppose that is because of the variable aperture perhaps.
Hi all, That 1.2 aperture really helps for low light focusing, compared
to 1.4, which is really only a 1/2 a stop, but still! The difference in
overall glass being used between 1.4 and 1.2 is quite substantial.
