I installed Enfuse and tried a macro focus stack but the result is
awful. Now I'm not sure if I should pay something or give up on it. Is

very well executed Ken. I like it a lot. Terrific use of lines. The
color of the one brown line on the very left side of the frame is
possibly a bit too saturated for the rest of the elements in the
image. Or maybe you wanted it that way.

I already told the story that I now have a Canon digital slr. My other

an infrared wildlife camera that I sometimes set up in the backyard.
I've captured foxes, raccoons, opossums and deer with it. No coyotes

A while back, I asked for advice about Monument Valley for a trip I was
planning. For those who might consider a visit down there, I offer the

There are two campgrounds and neither one is great. The one in the tribal park
is more primitive than the one at Gouldings. We wound up

We had a good time and it was a worthwhile stop on our tour since we were

through there anyway. I don't know that it's worth a visit by itself but I

recommend it in combination with the National Parks that are within a day's

The legs are independent of the heads. You can put pretty much any tripod head
you want on your Bogen legs.
My SO uses a CR2 system head and she's happy with it. One item you might want
to consider is the Bogen Junior Elbow Bracket for the CR2 system. It makes it
much easier to shoot

This is a repeat message. The first one apparently didn't go through.
I have an interesting photographic situation and I'd to get some opinions on
the best way to proceed.
I hang a suet feeder in a tree that's about 12' from the bathroom window. The
feeder brings in woodpeckers and other birds
that's a great idea Paul.

coon is not present with an incident flash meter.

I have the same feelings you do about the digital realm. That said, I think
you'll have to get involved in it if you want to pursue commercial work. You're
handicapping yourself if you don't.

mentioned, the 80-320 is your best bet IMO. Focal
length counts for everything in bird photography. I haven't used mine
for birds but I have used it for bigger wildlife at a distance and had good
results.
