report that Jerome Reyes stopped by the house a while back. He was on a
whirlwind tour of the southeastern US (it seemed) and was only here for a

Do you have the battery grip? I recall reading about some very odd behavior
WRT having the grip mounted with batteries in both compartments.
By way of anecdotal example, I'm at 2900 shots on my D (in about 14 months)
and have only had to change the batteries three or four times. I'm
