I'm having an awful time reading the numbers on the
bag. It looks like 1F640-245, or IK6Y0-245 or some
combination thereof. Terrible handwriting. Please let
me know if you have some insight into this even if
your not interested in buying the screen. Many thanks.

I came across a web-page describing a factory conversion of Spotmatics to MLUI

It is basically another stop down meter switch mounted on the opposite side of the

I have a Gossen Luna Pro SBC and am thinking about finding a Multibeam spot meter
attachment for it. Has anyone used one of these? Does it work well enough that you
could recommend buying one over buying a separate spotmeter for travel use? Obviously
size and weight are a consideration.

Bummer...
What specifically made you dislike it so much that you bought a proper spotmeter
instead?

Hello,
Has anyone had the their SP F's meter replaced with the K1000 meter conversion? I'm
curious if the metering remains average or is it also converted to center weighted as
in the K1000?
Now for the stretch. If a K1000 meter will go onto a Spotmatic, and a K1000 is

Can you imagine the excitement Neipce must have felt during this process and on it's

I don't think there is any doubt that the camera obscura predates Neipce's heliograph.
Neipce just developed the first photochemical process.

I would like to know what brands to look for in a 1.4x or 2x tele-coverter to

such a creature exist? If you can recommend one, can you please comment on it's

I guess the subject bar pretty much sums it up. Did Pentax make a 28mm f2 in screw
mount? Or was it added at the time of the switch to K-mount?

I have been casually looking out for a SMC 35/3.5 in K-mount for months, and have not
seen hide nor hair of it. I bought one in M42, and have seen 3 others for really
decent prices. But in K-mount this thing must be fairly rare. Same story for the SMC

I wonder what calculations the photographer used to get the nearly pefect spacing of
