BH is taking orders for the Pentax A 400/5.6. Probably just existing stock. I
doubt if Pentax is turning out more copies, but you can still get a new one. Of
course you can get a used one for less than half the price of new.

I've never used one, it's supposed to be a very good lens. Just
remember it's a manual aperture design.

It can be an okay bird lens with a short extension tube. Without
that, the K version of this lens won't focus close enough. The A
400/5.6 focuses much closer and will serve you better. Their both
just barely long enough for birding, but for those of us on a budget,
their better than
