Even though I doubt I'll want to spend the money on either new DSLR

especially applies to new lenses, that I might buy. I do think it's

Yes we are. But both will undoubtedly be significantly better than any

The 645D have the green button. It seem to mimick the K-mount cameras

I don't think it appears to be very large. The lens is obviously quite
large in comparison to the camera. I would like image stabilization if
it doesn't add a lot of cost. But I suspect the new Pentax DSLR won't

Not really

Why not?
It can't weigh much, certainly would not add any more complex operation than
toggling it on/off (or if it was really smart, it would allow the user to
set the shutter speed at which it kicked in), and would

In the hand, the LX feels larger than the MZ-S. The MZ-S is taller
but the shape is more ergonomic.
The D/DS et al are thicker feeling. I agree with Paul ... it doesn't
look much bigger than the D/DS to me.
If the new body does have image stabilization in addition to the
10Mpixel sensor,
DZ1 would be funnier.
