A few line from a Keppler article in the April '06 addition of Pop Photo: "Pentax's next DSLR, to be distributed under both Pentax and Samsung brands, will be similar to present models. A second Pentax around the $2000 mark will appear later, also bearing both Pentax and Samsung names. ".....the Pentax will not be made in Samsung's Techwin factory in South Korea, but rather in Japan or possibly the Philippins....".
