Yes, it has been pointed out to me on another community that by leaving
in the "big explosion in the sky" I destroyed the image. I rather think
I did not destroy the image, but next time I will be looking for at
least one more angle of view, where sun is (mostly) left out of the
field of view.

Super image! The grain in front gets rather abstracted - find myself
getting lost in it. I don't mind the lens flare - actually I think it
adds to the dynamic nature of the image. The blown out area is a bit
large though. But the foreground textures are really fantastic.
