Here is a recent shot of my grandson Darius with my cousin Jim Davidson
from Minnesota. Darius seemed to immediately have a bond with Jim (who
is just a great person) shortly after meeting him for the first time.
It's funny how young children really have a strong sense of who good
people are.

You caught a very nice look on the child's face. Jim's chin is a bit
tight on the bottom edge of the framing, unfortunately, but it's a
darn nice photo nonetheless.

The expression on your grandson's face is great, and the connection between
him and Jim is, to me, obvious. However, this photo suffers for the
details.
For example, the dirt on Darius's shirt is an annoying

I fiddled a bit with that idea, but Jim's face is a large foreground
element and it seemed that providing a little more space to viewer's left
gave the pic a little better balance. Of course, there's room to adjust
that space to varying degrees, and i certainly didn't try EVERY possibility
;-))
