I've said it before Epson RD-1 you can't have the 77 but you can get the 43.

That's the Holy Grail of many folks, and nothing like it exists yet.

The Sigma DP-1 might be an answer. Supposed to be the same sensor
going into the Sigma 14 DSLR, so it should have decent rendering and
sensitivity. 40mm f/4 is about a stop slower than I'd prefer but it
might be workable.

Interestingly enough, if my Olympus C-5050Z had decent manual focusing

Give it a good Optical VF/RF like on my Canonette GIII (asking for Leica

Hi-
Anyone have a favorite pocketable digital
I find the skinny Optio's too hard to hold - I prefer a bit more
heft. And I cannot abide the thought of using one of the ones without
viewfinder. We've had Optio 330 and Optio 550. The start-up time and
the shutter lag is a PITA on any such camera, but these are both very
functional. Also
I have two favorites - both Sonys. Both use AA batteries, which I like.

Canon A630. It's not stupid-small, uses AA's and SD cards, reasonable
lens, some user control, good screen.
