Ours seem to come up about a week after ther Detroit area, were Paul is.
My garden os full of yellow on yellow daffies, and this is the second
year, one yellow/white daffy popped up.

K10D Da 50, LR adjust and export as email.
Back lite the white pedals.
BTW its the only 1 woth white pedals, all
Good exposure detail in the flower but i'd prefer not to have the white
background showing in the sky, a higher perspective would have eliminated
it.

Then that's the right DOF. I know you needed to get the near edge of
the blossom in focus and due to the working distance, may have needed
to push the DOF. For me it's a completely acceptable background, Paul
and I agree with Ann, nice bokeh.

Wouldn't normally want the blossom this far to the right in the frame,
but the shape and line of both the leaf and stem make it work.
Background is borderline too busy.
