Yes and no. That is, 12800 is too rough for really good large prints;
however, every time I ask myself, Would I rather the camera lock me out
of that shot?

Ann, find a bug with nice eyebrows instead as they lie flatter. If you
try for a bug with long dark lashes you'll have to learn focus
stacking techniques too. Not only that, but there's more retouching to
do; bugs are notorious for spattering mascara all around.

Looks liek the K-5 is suiting you fine! Nice shots all around.

Without any disrespect, Bipin. I've opened the pictures you posted on my
24 inch profiled Dell monitor. It is set to full 1920 x 1200 pixels
resolution and I my eyes are appox 1 m away from its surface.
What can I say - the photographs are good in terms of light, composition

Well almost all the photos you have seen of mine in the past two years
were taken with the 18-55 zoom. I'm not dissing it totally, Bipin.
But it isn't as sharp as my manual prime from 1975. I'd like to shoot
with a prime that's auto-focus for walking around -the zooms stick out
too far and I
Great pics, Ann. You're right. The 18-55 is okay, but even at web size, pics
are a bit soft in the corners. The DA* constant-ap zooms are as good as most
primes, but they are big and heavy.

Nice, especially the skyline one. You have a nice roof!
