We are planning a trip to Rome in mid-February. We usually travel to Europe only in Spring, and I would appreciate any information from Italians or from other who have visited Italy in winter, about what we should expect, as far as weather, crowds and facilities that might not be open and fully operating. For example, are the fountains in Rome and Tivoli operating? What are the main piazza like? Do restaurant still have tables outdoors? Do people still stroll in the evening?
Since it has been several years since our last trip to Rome, I would also appreciate any recommendations on what to do and see, how jto get around, and where to eat. Thanks in advance. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
