There are plenty of shots in there were he hasn't cut off anything at
all, though he easily could have, so it's not like he's just looking to
chop off body parts.
I don't see any indication that any of the crops produce anything other
than a desired effect - including, occasionally,
I agree. One gets the feeling that he crops because he can, and
because it has become his style to do so, not because it creates a
desired effect in a particular image.

somewhat sexist. The shots where he just barely crops a toe or moves the figure
to the bottom of the frame are okay. That can create a kind of visual tension.
But after a while, it becomes a cliche.
