Ah, yes ... Fredonia is a pretty small berg. Know in the area for
the furniture store, Feagans of Fredonia.
I live in an even smaller town, just west of Paducah, and it's in a dry
county as well. In fact, I tend bar in a bootleg joint that operates
with a wink and a nod from the police,
It's a great shot. I find the noise in the elbow area a bit
distracting but that's a question of taste. A real keeper.

Hadn't even noticed the noise until you mentioned it.
Terrific shot!

Walt,
Nice catch. The guy seems to have his hospital bracelet still on!
And congrats on being in the right place at the right time for a paid gig.
I looked at some of your other pictures in flicker and was impressed.
You got some characters there to pose for you.

Thanks, Steven. I was slightly put off by the elbow noise at first,
too ... but, I didn't want to fiddle around too much and wreck the rest
of the shot. So, I broke the will of my perfectionist inner child and
let things be for once in my life.
I think I'll have a print made of this one
Thank you, Frank!
I spotted it right away, but managed to convince myself it was the
proverbial feature rather than a bug.

On Sun,
Thanks, Bob, for the congrats and kind words.
I didn't notice the hospital bracelet until I started processing. The
loose Band-Aid caught my attention as an intriguing minor detail. But,
the hospital bracelet really was a nice touch in that it made me wonder
what the guy's story was.
I know exactly what you mean. Some times great shots have small flaws
and fixing/fixating on that fklaw ruins them.

Is that a hospital bracelet or a drink bracelet. I've been to a few
events where they issue those of age something like that at the gate so
that they may partake of adult beverages, without constantly being asked
for ID.

I assume it's a hospital bracelet since they issued tickets for
drinks, rather than bracelets. They keep all the drinkers penned up in
a beer garden -- which is just a glorified term for what's generally
referred to as a segregation unit in the correctional system.

The adult beverage bracelets don't usually have privacy act data
imprinted on them. That one's got at least 4 lines of text and a
bar-code, and the band-aid on the other arm is in the right place for an IV.

Love that shot,
Thank you, Larry.
The main reason for ISO 800 at 1/1600 was the fact that my flash had
started triggering on a couple of shots before that, so rather than
manually shut it down, I just bumped up the ISO to minimize the
necessity for it, but still have it pop up just in case it was
