Thanks, Christine.
The image was taken with the original Optio, which does not produce
the same quality as the better current DSLRs, and I processed it
quickly in Photoshop, using the automatic Smartfix.
Just as an exercise, I went back to the original file and processed it
a bit more carefully:
Very pretty, Dan! Is it me or is it a little over sharpened? Everything else
thought very nice! Cheers, Christine

This is the view from the beach across the road from where we stay,
and is my favorite vista of Muai. Yes those are wind turbines,
generating electricity for the island. This group is on the back side
of the West Maui

Nice geology... are those wind turbines in the distance?
The little white lines around forms are a bit distracting - guessing you
don't have access to the
best editor rightnow.

Exactly my thoughts!
One thing that I might add, is if that my eyes are trying to see if there
were something interesting to the right (because of the foreground rocks).
But I am not sure that it would be necessarily a better composition, as
it is very go as is.

Paul Stenquist Tue,
to move a shade to your left, I feel it would be a much more
comfortable scene.

Lovely image and colors. Also works well as a 6:17 "panorama" aspect
ratio, IMHO.
Just over the tops of the clouds and just a bit of the rock on the
lower right - full width.
